Life is a training ground, so make the most of it and have fun!

And I got out, immediately

AUTOBIOGRAPHY IN FIVE CHAPTERS (PORTIA NELSON)

1) I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost… I am hopeless.
It isn’t my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

2) I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don’t see it.
I fall in again.
I can’t believe I’m in the same place.
But it isn’t my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.

3) I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in… it’s a habit.
My eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.

4) I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

5) I walk down another street.

Took those pictures in rural Cambodia roughly a month ago.
Went to this restaurant with my colleagues in Cambodia and saw these beautiful green leaves in front and took out my camera, and was happy to get some closeup shots of the ants.
15 minutes later, I got served with this specialty that is only sold at “big” restaurants - beef stir fried with ants. I’m not sure if they were the ants on the tree in front (must be, take all nature has to offer!!). I have heard of all kinds of insects food, but ants? I should have tried it, at least for being polite to my Cambodian colleagues who were eagerly told me they were going to treat me to a specialty that day…
Next time I won’t try to take picture of any small creatures in Cambodia that are in front of a restaurant that i will be entering, anymore.

Sometime in Feb I wrote this:

I believe there’s always a middle ground, but I don’t believe in living half heartedly.

It is such a fucking waste of time.
